Although our former name, travelhandlers, served us well for over 19 years, we were always a bit diffident about the name, and as we changed the nature and focus of our business, we were more determined to change the name. We wanted something shorter, something that conveyed the nature of the business, something that said vacation or travel but did not use the word travel or travel agency…we looked at Latin words, names Greek gods, we tried creating names (like Telus), we researched explorers names, and we tried all sorts of brainstorming techniques.
