Lee, our founder, first felt the magic of storytelling when he started holding a video camera at the age of 14. Back then, it was simply about capturing moments with friends and family. His journey carried him through the halls of University of Toronto, where he started shooting orientation events, school promotional videos, and ultimately learning how to tell someone's story.
Before Focus came into the picture, Lee dabbled in shaping stories at companies like SunTV and the Toronto Film Festival Company. There he learned how to capture stories, create edits from his vision, and turn raw images into living memories. Along the way, he nurtured a community of storytellers who share the same passion: showcasing the beauty of life in all its messy and gleaming occasions.
